A hackamore is often referred to as a bitless bridle because it is a bridle that works without a bit in the hores's mouth. Hackamores provide control from the long shanks at each side. The shanks exert pressure at different points of the horse's head - the nose, chin groove, and poll, compared to a traditional bit which applies pressure to the bars of the horse's mouth.
The noseband of the Kelly Hackamore is a stainless steel cable covered with stitched leather. 10" chrome plated cheeks.
